Price increases (but not for members)

As a small children's charity that reinvests our profits back into the Club, we work hard all the time to keep our prices for members low. Our gymnastics sessions at John Pounds Centre start from just £22 per month for one 1-hour session per week, rising to £42 per month for one 2-hour session per week.
Like everyone, we have been impacted by the cost of living crisis. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to raise some of our prices, but price rises will affect new members; if you have an active membership plan already in place, your membership plan will remain at the current price and will not increase.
An active membership plan is one that pays monthly for your gymnast's sessions. If you cancel your membership plan, or your plan is cancelled because a payment has failed, you will need to sign up to a new membership plan at the increased price and will also need to pay the registration fee again. The registration fee is a fee charged to all new customers (ie, customers who don't have an active membership plan) and covers our administrative costs for onboarding new customers or chasing failed payments, etc.
Sometimes a membership plan cancels because attempts to take payment fail. We aren't able to tell why a payment fails, because this happens beyond our website and beyond our control. You would need to contact your payment provider - which could be your bank, if you signed up with a debit card, or with PayPal if you signed up via this method - to find out why payment failed. Failure might also be due to insufficient funds or a change of bank card or bank account details.
It's important to make sure that your bank card details and bank account details are kept up-to-date and correct, and to ensure there are sufficient funds in your account so that your monthly membership fees can be paid and your gymnast's space in their session secured. We are unable to 'hold' a space in a session without payment for that space in advance of the session.

The price increase for new customers comes into effect from 1st September 2024. If your membership plan has lapsed for any reason, and your gymnast wishes to continue with their sessions, you will need to sign up for a membership plan before 1st September in order to take advantage of the current lower prices.
